THE MIRACLE ALLAH HAS CREATED IN HIS CAUSATIVE ARTISTRY

Almighty Allah, He Who is capable of creating an infinite variety and wealth, produces accompanying natural causes for everything He creates. In creating events and people, Allah also creates the most ideal natural causes within a perfect order accessible to human reason. Allah is Omniscient and Almighty. The way that events appear planned and dependant on natural causes is essentially a manifestation of Allah’s infinite might.

The way that Allah produces millions of very different and diverse natural causes within His flawless creative artistry is a great miracle. With His infinite mind, Allah could create everything without natural causes if He so chose, and would certainly do this in the most perfect manner. However, all the natural causes produced and shown to us by our Almighty Lord allow us to see the perfection in the details of His artistry, and His infinite mind and compassion for us in all those details. One element of the wisdom in Allah’s creation in the way He depicts everything as dependent on natural causes is the fact that human beings are entities constantly exposed to testing. Human beings are also tested through the natural causes Allah creates and through the moral values they display in the face of the events created. By displaying the natural causes behind the events He creates with His omniscience, Allah shows us an amazing artistry requiring the deepest of reflection. By producing events in a chain of natural causes, Allah creates miracles of a kind that the human mind can accept in the environment of the test. If Allah were to do away with natural causes, then the environment of the test might also disappear, but by creating natural causes of a kind acceptable to the human mind in this perfect environment of testing, people are tested in terms of faith and whether or not they abide by the moral values of the Qur’an.

Our Almighty and All-Powerful Lord manifests the relationship between cause and effect in the most perfect way in the many events we encounter. For example, if we want to lay and eat off an attractive table as we are sitting in our chairs, and all the food we want is suddenly created in front of us, then this would very definitely baffle the human mind. However, Allah creates the table laid in the manner most appropriate to the human mind and through the most appropriate natural causes. Allah creates the people who lay that table, who cook the food and who think up all the details concerned. In this way, Allah creates a great many miraculous events experienced in daily life by making them dependent upon natural causes as a requirement of the test. When we see the final state of the table prepared, we see that is has been created for us at that moment, without stopping to think of natural causes. The fact is, however, that Allah, Who produces that table by combining a number of natural causes together, shows us how perfectly He has created those causes. Or if we were suddenly created where we wanted to be when it was time to go to school, that would also baffle the human mind. But again Allah creates the finest causes, those most accessible to the human mind, creating us where we want to be at the time we want to be there, as the result of natural causes.

It is Allah Who uses a car, ship or airplane, the original of which exists on the outside, to change the image forming in our brains. Allah brings exceptionally perfect images together, combines several separate events in a perfect manner and manifests His causal artistry in the finest manner.

If Allah so wishes, he can make someone who is seriously ill even healthier than he was before, with no natural causes being required. But Allah uses hospitals, doctors or drugs as causes in order to cure people. All these are causes under Allah’s control. For example, if a young person were to age in a few seconds before our very eyes, that person would be going beyond the bounds of human conception. But when Allah creates time and years as natural causes, then aging becomes something everyone regards as perfectly ordinary. Or if a tiny baby were to start talking and walking within just a few seconds, the human mind would be unable to conceive it. But when Allah gives rise to such things by making time a natural cause, things happen that everyone regards as normal. The household equipment we use every day, maybe without ever thinking about it, actually reaches us through a variety of natural causes. A whole chain of natural causes operates, from the worker in the factory where the equipment is manufactured to the lorry that delivers it to our homes. Allah shows that every detail in everything we encounter, a table that has been laid, a car we use, the medicines we take, the television remote control we pick up and many more such glorious details all arise within natural causes.

The way that Allah produces natural causes for every event, every person and every condition and situation in a chain whose laws are accessible to the human mind is a great miracle…

Almighty Allah, Who is powerful enough to create all things when He so chooses, reveals the might in His creation in these verses:

“Does He Who created the heavens and earth not have the power to create the same again? Yes indeed! He is the Creator, the All-Knowing.” (Surah Ya Sin, 81)

“His command when He desires a thing is just to say to it, ‘Be!’ and it is.” (Surah Ya Sin, 82)

THE WISDOM BEHIND MUSLIMS NOT MOVING AROUND ALONE BUT TOGETHER WITH OTHER BELIEVERS

Ibn Omar: The Messenger of Allah (saas) said: “IF PEOPLE KNEW AS MUCH AS I DO ABOUT (THE UNDESIRABILITY) OF BEING ALONE, NO MAN ON HORSEBACK WOULD TRAVEL ALONE FOR EVEN A SINGLE NIGHT.”

(Al-Kutub al-Sitta, hadith no: 2182)

Jabir: The Messenger of Allah (saas) wished to go on campaign, and said: “O COMMUNITY OR MIGRANTS AND EMIGRANTS! Some of your brothers have neither possessions nor tribe. LET EACH ONE OF YOU TAKE TWO OR THREE SUCH PEOPLE ALONGSIDE THEM.” (Jabir then goes on to say): "At this I took two or three people along with me. (Throughout the journey) for my camel, I had a queue of people (riding) like that of the others.”

(Al-Kutub al-Sitta, hadith no: 2192)

THE QUR'AN SAYS THAT THE MESSENGERS ALWAYS ACTED WITH SOMEONE AT THEIR SIDE

Then after them WE SENT MUSA AND HARUN WITH OUR SIGNS TO PHARAOH AND HIS RULING CIRCLE, but they were arrogant and were a people of evildoers. (Surah Yunus, 75)

WE GAVE MUSA THE BOOK AND APPOINTED HIS BROTHER HARUN WITH HIM AS A HELPER. (Surat al-Furqan, 35)

When they had gone a distance further on, HE (MUSA) SAID TO HIS SERVANT, ‘Bring us our morning meal. Truly this journey of ours has made us tired.’(Surat al-Kahf, 62)

THEY [HAZRAT MUSA (AS) AND HAZRAT KHIDR (AS)]CONTINUED UNTIL THEY BOARDED A BOAT… (Surat al-Khaf, 71)

... when those who disbelieved drove him out and THERE WERE TWO OF THEM IN THE CAVE. HE SAID TO HIS COMPANION, “Do not be despondent, Allah is with us.” (Surat at-Tawba, 40)

HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) WILL HAVE A DIP BETWEEN HIS EYEBROWS

Hazrat Mahdi (as)… WILL HAVE A SMALL DIP BETWEEN HIS EYEBROWS …

Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 13, p. 243 (Farsi translation)

In this hadith narrated from our Prophet (saas), it is said that Hazrat Mahdi (as) WILL HAVE A NATURAL DIP (IN THE FORM OF A SINGLE LINE) between his eyebrows.

HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) WILL BE KNOWN ALL OVER THE WORLD BY WAY OF THE INTERNET, TELEVISION AND THE RADIO

The name and fame of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will constantly spread during the End Times. The Internet, television and radio will play a major role in this. The hadith of our Prophet (saas) say that the renown of Hazrat Mahdi (as) will spread by way of images and videos carried over the Internet, and through television and radio:

The imam [Hazrat Mahdi (as)] will (spiritually) conquer the East and West and bring Islam (the morality of Islam) to rule across the world... ALMIGHTY ALLAH WILL GIVE PEOPLE SUCH POWER THAT EVERYONE WILL HEAR HIS [HAZRAT MAHDI'S (AS)] WORDS, WHEREVER THEY MAY BE, and the imam (as) will give life to Islam...

(Bihar al-Anwar, V. 52, p. 279 and V. 53, p. 12 Ikmal al-Din, V. 2, p. 367)

It is certain that in the time of QAIM [HAZRAT MAHDI (AS)] IF A BELIEVER IS IN THE EAST, HE WILL PERSONALLY SEE HIS BROTHER IN THE WEST. IF HE IS IN THE WEST, HE WILL SEE HIS BROTHER IN THE EAST.

(Bihar al-Anwar, V. 52, p. 391)

It is also indicated in the hadith that through such means of communication as the Internet, television and radio, every community will be able to see images of Hazrat Mahdi (as) and listen to his words, translated into their own languages, from anywhere in the world:

In the Iqdud Durar he says: THIS SOUND WILL COVER THE WORLD AND EVERY PEOPLE WILL HEAR IT IN THEIR OWN TONGUES.

(Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi, p. 51)
(Muhammad Ibn 'Abd Al-Rasul Al-Barzanji, Portensts of Doomsday, p. 201)

There will be a voice from the sky to the people of the Earth, SUCH THAT EVERYONE WILL HEAR IT IN HIS OWN TONGUE.

(Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-Zaman p. 37)

A voice from the sky will call him by his name, AND EVERYONE IN EAST OR WEST OR EVEN ASLEEP WILL HEAR THAT VOICE and wake up.

(Ibn Hajar al-Haytami al-Makki, POrtens of Awaited Mahdi, Al-Qawl Al-Mukhtasar Fi alamat Al-Mahdi Al-Muntazar, p. 56)

Another hadith suggests that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will answer all the questions put to him by people regarding matters they are curious about concerning the East (the Muslim world) and West (the Christian world) and that people will witness these.

By means of the Internet and television, technology that advances during the End Times, people all over the world will witness the statements made by Hazrat Mahdi (as):

... HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) WILL ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS ABOUT THINGS BETWEEN THE EAST AND WEST.

(Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Nomani, al-Ghaybah al-Nomani p. 283)

RADIO RECEIVERS ON MOUNTAINS

We gave Dawud great favor from Us: “O mountains and birds! Echo with him in his praise!” And We made iron malleable for him: (Surah Saba’, 10)

The description of mountains “echoing” in the above verse may be a reference to the way that radios work. (Allah knows the truth.) The basic principles on which radios operate may be summarized as follows:

The radio system consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter takes the message to be sent, encodes it in what is known as a “sinus wave” and transmits it in the form of waves. The receiver takes in the radio waves and deciphers the message sent on the sinus wave. In this way, the message is received in exactly the same form as it was sent. The word “evvibi,” translated as “echo” in the above verse and meaning “sound being repeated or returned”, may very well be a reference to the transmission of these radio waves. (Allah knows the truth.)

Sounds emitted in the form of sound waves by way of an antenna in order that the receiver can take in the data sent are also met by an antenna linked to the receiver. The purpose behind using antennae is the transmission into space of the waves emitted by the radio transmitter. The receiving antenna is intended to collect as many radio waves and messages as possible. That is why NASA uses giant antennae bowls 70 meters across for its satellites millions of kilometers away in space.

There are also radio telescopes which use radio waves to form images. Since radio waves are very long, a radio telescope has to be much larger in order to collect them as images sufficiently clear to be compared. In order to obtain sharper and better images, astronomers use a connected series of smaller telescopes or receptors. These telescopes act collectively as one very large one. And in physical appearance, these series resemble mountain systems.

In addition, “repeaters” are employed to permit radio communications over every great distances. These devices repeat and strengthen weak signals and enable them to be transmitted over considerable distances. Such devices are generally sited on tall buildings or on the tops of mountains for preference, in order to have the greatest effect. The use of the word “evvibi,” translated as “echo” in the above verse, is exceedingly wise. The statement of, “O mountains and birds! Echo with him in his praise!’” in verse 10 of Surah Saba’ may thus be a description of that technology. Allah knows the truth.

THE SUN'S HYDROGEN AND HELIUM CONTENT

The Sun is made up of 70% hydrogen (H) and 28% helium (He) atoms. i Other substances make up less than 2%. Six hundred million tons of hydrogen are converted into 596 million tons of helium in the Sun every second. The remaining 4 million tons is given off as heat and light energy. ii In that sense, the first thing that comes to mind when the Sun is mentioned is the letters H (hydrogen) and He (helium) that stand for the Sun. All the 15 verses in Surat ash-Shams of the Qur’an (Shams meaning ‘Sun’), end in the letters H and E. The Arabic equivalent of these letters are:

The Arabic form of the verses in Surat ash-Shams and the final letters thereof can be seen below:

As can be seen, all the verses in Surat ash-Shams end in the letters He and Elif. The letter H stands for hydrogen and He for helium. No other Surah in the Qur’an ends in the letters HE in every verse from beginning to end. It is therefore extremely striking how only this Surah in the Qur’an ends in such a sequence of letters. Surat ash-Shams’s number, 91, is also highly significant. Apart from hydrogen, there are 91 other elements in the Periodic Table, and these are made up of hydrogen elements. To put it another way, all atoms. From hydrogen, the lightest element, to the heaviest are intra-atomic combinations of hydrogen atoms. For that reason, the H (hydrogen) atom in the Sun makes up the other 91 elements in nature. iii

Almighty Allah has created all the details in nature, and is still creating them. All our knowledge about such details is permitted to us in order for us to comprehend the omniscience of our Lord. In one verse, we are told:

Allah, there is no god but Him, the Living, the Self-Sustaining. He is not subject to drowsiness or sleep. Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. Who can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them but they cannot grasp any of His knowledge save what He wills. His Footstool encompasses the heavens and the earth and their preservation does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent. (Surat al-Baqara, 255)
